The 1989 Collection
“You got that James Dean daydream
look in your eye
And I got that red lip classic
thing that you like
And when we go crashing down,
We come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style
We never go out of style”
This isn’t the first Taylor Swift collection I’ve painted, and it certainly won’t be the last.
Taylor had an AMAZING month of October: the Eras Tour movie debut, the release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and hitting billionaire status (go Tay Tay!)
Swifties everywhere pulled out their statement tees, made friendship bracelets, and danced in the aisles of movie theaters across the country. My daughter and I had a blast seeing the movie with friends and their parents.
I also enjoyed dressing as Taylor for Halloween while my husband went as a Swiftie. Sporting a blonde wig, red lipstick, and rhinestone boots was more fun than I like to admit. I would love to wear my boots again! If anyone has any 2024 Eras Tour ticket hookups, let me know.
I hope you enjoy my 1989 collection - it was fun to paint while listening to the album. I brought back a variety of pinks because let’s face it… they never go out of style.
